Subarno Diver GMT is a Swiss diving watch made in 316L steel with a 120-click unidirectional rotating bezel. The timepiece has a large sapphire crystal face with internal anti-reflective treatment, sapphire bezel and illuminated graphics with SuperLuminova BGW9 inserts.
The watch features two screw-down crowns, one of which is a helium escape valve, and a screw-down case back that guarantees water resistance up to 500 meters.
The case, with a diameter of 40.8mm and a thickness of 12.8mm, has a unique shape with double bezels and double conical crowns which allow the watch to be worn on both the right and left wrist. The case is a small masterpiece of engineering and design with conical and truncated-conical shapes inspired by the starfish. We often refer to the Subarno as “Iconic Conic”.
The 20mm watch band is also unique in its design and recaptures these ichthyic forms. The folding buckle has an internal micro-adjustment that also acts as an extension for the diving suit.
The dial features fine workmanship and applied indices with an abundant insertion of luminova BGW9. The spheres are a proprietary design and also contain luminova.
The heart of the CMC Subarno Diver GMT is the highly reliable Landeron L24 automatic GMT movement. The choice of this caliber is intentional as it unites us with the Swiss manufacturer to guarantee quality and reliability. Landeron, unlike the more widely distributed younger brands today, has an important history behind it. Rather than using an automated process with numerical controls in order to mass produce, a large proportion of their pieces are assembled by hand. Compared to the competition, L24 appears to be extremely robust and stress resistant. For a diver watch with GMT function, this caliber was deemed the most suitable for our needs.
